The Macungie Town Beautification Committee is looking for Macungie residents who are willing to adopt “homeless” scarecrows to line East and West Main Street in the borough. Our two dogs Lizzy and Daisy spend the nights in their crates. When Matt says, “Time for bed,” stand back because Daisy beelines it for the crate and her treat. The night before my appendectomy, I was curled up on the couch, not feeling very well. When Matt tried to put the dogs to bed, Daisy refused to leave my side. My husband is convinced Daisy knew I was sick and wanted to stay with me.
