Albany Township Environmental Advisory Council is hosting guest speaker John Nissen with the state Bureau of Forestry for a conversation titled “Protecting Your Backyard Trees and Woodlots” 7 p.m. Sept. 10 at the Kempton Fire Company, 2461 Route 143, Kempton.

Learn about new invasive insects and plants, and how to keep trees and forests healthy.

This free program is open to all residents.
