STONY RUN

Friedens Lutheran Church, 9727 Red Road, Stony Run, will have its apple festival on Sept. 21. The event will take place rain or shine.

Food, including apple dumplings, tarts, crisp and fritters, funnel cakes, ice cream, hamburgers, fries, hot dogs, soup, barbecues and other home cooking will be served 2-8 p.m.

“The Majestics,” classic country, bluegrass and other music, is scheduled to perform 5-8 p.m.

Bring a food item to donate to the local food bank.
