Coplay Fire Department has launched its annual fund drive, appealing to borough residents to mail in donations.

Donations can also be dropped off at the fire station, 165 Cherry St. The proceeds go toward equipment needs.

The fire department is also seeking volunteers.

Coplay Recreation & Welfare Association’s food bank is open 8:30-10 a.m. Sept. 10 in the basement of borough hall, 98 S. Fourth St.

Proof of borough residence must be shown.

Coplay Recreation & Welfare Association has also extended its 2019 community fund drive through September.

The Coplay Borough summer concert series continues.

Dynamic Duo will entertain Sept. 11, and Dan Flok Trio & Chris Aguayo will take the stage Sept. 18.

Concerts are 6-9 p.m. at Coplay Community Plaza, North Second and Chestnut streets.

There will be a pub crawl to celebrate the borough’s 150th anniversary Sept. 21. The event starts 4 p.m.

Participants include Samuel Owens Family Restaurant & Bar, American Club of Coplay and Coplay Saengerbund.
