Don Cunningham and Associates will perform 7-10 p.m. Sept. 6 at the amphitheater at the Catasauqua Park and Playground, 501 American St.

As always, remember to bring your lawn chairs, blankets and snacks.

Salem United Church of Christ, 615 Third St., will be having a free community picnic 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Sept. 7.

Catasauqua Community Thrift Shop, 113 Bridge St., will be having a bag sale on everything in the store Sept. 9-14.

The shop will be closed Sept. 16-18 and will reopen Sept. 19 with new fall and winter clothing.

Normal business hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays.
