Lehigh Township police responded to a report of a two-vehicle crash Aug. 25 at West Mountain View and Maple drives.

According to Police Chief Scott Fogel, when officers arrived at the scene, approximately 11:30 a.m., they found a silver Chevolet Equinox and a red Toyota Tundra pickup, both with heavy damage.

The driver of the pickup, Kim Gehris Jr., told police he was traveling east on Mountain View Drive when the Equinox, driven by Leon Borger, pulled out in front of him. The vehicles collided.

Borger was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, Fogel said.

Two passengers in the pickup, both minors, sustained minor injuries and were transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital for treatment.

Lehigh Township Fire Department, Lehigh Township Fire Police and Northampton Regional EMS assisted at the scene.

The investigation is continuing.
