On Sept. 1, St. John the Baptist Catholic Church will hold its annual church picnic. Stop by the church grounds, located at Ruch and Chestnut streets, and enjoy the musical entertainment, delicious food fare and games.

You are sure to run into some neighbors there!

The fun starts noon and will continue until 9 p.m.

Reminder: Whitehall-Coplay School District students returned to school Aug. 26, as did many from other neighboring school districts. Remember to be alert while driving through the neighborhoods in the morning since the children will be walking to bus stops.
