Frieden’s Church

Frieden’s Lutheran Church, 9727 Red Road, Kempton, just off Route 737, Stony Run, Berks County, will have its apple festival Sept. 21, rain or shine.

Food, including apple dumplings, tarts, crisp and fritters, funnel cakes, ice cream, hamburgers, fries, hot dogs, soup, barbecues, and other home cooking. will be served 2-8 p.m.

“The Majestics” classic country, bluegrass and other music is scheduled to perform 5-8 p.m.

Bring a nonperishable item for the local food bank.
