Recently, Emmaus Garden Club member Ellen Wilson dons her Madame Butterfly costume to present a program on Monarch butterflies at the Emmaus Public Library, 11 E. Main St. The program is among the club's youth outreach efforts. Approximately 18 children and their parents attended the program. Wilson explained the life cycle of the butterflies and the importance of host plants, especially milkweed.
