On Aug. 25, Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3355 MacArthur Road, will have its blessing of the backpacks during the 9 a.m. worship service.
Students, teachers, instructors and administrators are encouraged to bring their backpack, briefcase, portfolio, etc., for a prayer, blessing and special gift to begin the 2019-20 academic year.
