A two-alarm house fire in the 100 block of Howertown Road occurred.

In the 100 block of South 11th Street, an abandoned vehicle was tagged.

A custody dispute took place in the 300 block of Church Street.

Police responded to a parking complaint in the 700 block of Second Street. A vehicle was ticketed.

A wallet was taken from a vehicle in the 300 block of Second Street.

An issue regarding a civil dispute occurred on Stonewood Place.

A bat in a home in the 200 block of Pine Street was investigated.

The department said a hit and run to a parked vehicle occurred in the 100 block of Front Street.

An open access area at the bridge construction site in the 200 block of Race Street was reported. Public works was notified.

AUG. 8

A vehicle was moved for public works in the 500 block of Front Street.

A house was spray painted in the 200 block of Church Street, police said.

An animal complaint in the 200 block of Mulberry Street was filed with the department.

Cables were pulled down in the 400 block of Race Street. The provider was notified.

Police said a theft that occurred on Covington Place is under investigation.

A parakeet was found in the 200 block of High Street.

Officers investigated a fraud case in the 700 block of Second Street.

An issue between a landlord and tenant took place in the 700 block of Second Street.

In the 100 block of Railroad Street, a door and screen were damaged. Police investigated the criminal mischief.

In the 200 block of Lehigh Street, a written warning and a citation were given for traffic offenses.

On Edward Lane, police investigated a parking complaint and issued a ticket.

A child abuse case in the 300 block of Church Street was referred to another agency.

Police assisted North Catasauqua officers for an unattended death in the 1000 block of Howertown Road.

Quamir Dabner, 25, of Catasauqua, was cited for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness near Catty Corner Neighborhood Pub & Pie, 301 Mulberry St.

AUG. 10

In the 800 block of Walnut Street, a traffic citation was issued.

A double trailer was blocking traffic in the 200 block of Race Street.

An investigation is continuing for a domestic offense against family on Fourth Street.

A report of an open door was investigated in the 500 block of Third Street.

Traffic citations were issued in the 200 block of Race Street and the 400 block of North 14th Street.

Police investigated a noise complaint in the 300 block of Union Street. The resident turned down the music and was warned.

A vehicle was ticketed on South 15th Street.

Police sought vehicle repossession information in the 700 block of Race Street.

Items were taken from a vacant home in the 200 block of Wood Street, the report said.
