HISTORIC BETHLEHEM

Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites sixth annual Apple Days event will be held 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 7 and 8 at Burnside Plantation, 1461 Schoenersville Road.

Attractions will include apple bobbing, kids crafts and activities, cooking and colonial demonstrations, blacksmithing, barn and house tours, live music, culinary and doughnut eating contests and takeout desserts.

New for this year is a kids activity pass for crafts such as apple-stencil T-shirts, clay pinch pots, tin-punched ornaments, painted stones and pinecone birdfeeders. Adult cider and apple dessert combo passes are also available. There is a cost.

Free parking and shuttle buses are available at the former Bon-Ton at Westgate Mall, 2524 Schoenersville Road. Advance ticket purchases are available through Sept. 6 online. Tickets will be sold at the festival entry during the event.
