Morgenland Church, 3120 Weidasville Road, Orefield, is accepting orders until Sept. 1 for its hoagie sale. Pick up will be from 4-6 p.m. Sept. 10.
Choose between regular with everything, or no onions or peppers, ham and cheese, turkey, roast beef, tuna or veggie.

Lehigh Valley Zoo, 5150 Game Preserve Road, Schnecksville, will be having Africa Enrichment Day on Aug. 18.
Learn more about the 10 species of animals that are native to Africa and housed at the zoo.
There will also be an assortment of crafts and activities geared toward some of these species and educational keeper talks.
Join the staff at the zoo for its first ever Zoocoustic Night 5-9 p.m. Aug. 22.
Enjoy acoustic music from local artists Kyle Baker, Erin Kelly and Guitarist, Steel Creek Duo, Stacy Gabel, Andrew Mark Schaffer, Zac Lawless, Seth Witcher, and Kendal Conrad beginning at 5:30 p.m.
There will be four sections of the zoo where musicians will be playing simultaneously and music will be continuous from 5:30-9 p.m.
Explore the zoo after hours while listening to musical performances from local musicians, and enjoying a variety of beer, wine, seltzers, and ciders.
Food, beer and wine will be available for purchase.
Tickets may be purchased online in advance or at the gate.
Pizza with the Keepers will be offered from 12:30-2:30 p.m. Aug. 24.
This exclusive luncheon will take place in the lower event tent.
The Pizza with the Keepers ticket includes: admission to the Zoo for the entire day, a two-hour exclusive luncheon with the animal care, conservation education and veterinary staff, pizza and beverages.
Join your favorite classic storybook characters as they come to life at the zoo on Aug. 25.
There will be photos, sing-a-longs, and meet-and-greets with Snow White from 10 a.m. to noon, Cinderella from noon to 2 p.m. and Aurora from 2-4 p.m. courtesy of Joanna Bertalan of Professional Singing Princess.
There will be animal mingles from 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1:30-2 p.m.
Learn about the natural behaviors of animals versus how they are often portrayed in fairy tales during the zoo’s keeper chats.
