A 71-year-old driver, of Macungie, was injured when her vehicle rolled over twice, striking a sign with its roof, in a one-vehicle accident along Buckeye Road in Upper Milford Township.
The driver was headed west on Buckeye Road 3:23 p.m. Aug. 1 when the driver lost consciousness and the vehicle went off the road and into a grassy area where it struck a utility pole. The vehicle then rolled over before hitting a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation 45 mph speed limit sign, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A Macungie Ambulance Corps crew transported the driver to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest campus.
A Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville trooper responded to Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 7:13 p.m. June 7 due to a report of a theft of $50 from a cash register by a former store employee.
An unknown person removed a wallet and its contents from a shopping cart at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, between 5:30 and 6:24 p.m. Aug. 1. According to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville, the wallet, a black Coach clutch wallet valued at $295, contained a Social Security card, debit card, various gift cards valued at $15 and other miscellaneous cards.
A prescription container and Percocet pain medication were removed from a purse at a location on Hillcrest Drive, Lower Macungie Township, between 4 and 10 p.m. July 29, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 32-year-old male, of Zionsville, reported a blue and white 2006 Yamaha PW80 dirt bike was removed from a shed at a location along Chestnut Street, Upper Milford Township, sometime between 2:20 p.m. July 15 and 1 p.m. Aug. 3. The shed was left unlocked, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 51-year-old male, of Coplay, reported his car as possibly stolen from the 7000 block of Alburtis Road, Lower Macungie Township, 12:54 a.m. July 1. After speaking with the man, Pennsylvania State Police located the vehicle nearby.
Troopers from Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville responded to a residence in the 100 block of Morning Star Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 1:53 a.m. Aug. 10 for the report of a theft from motor vehicle in progress. According to police, the resident was at home when she heard someone opening and closing the doors of her vehicle parked in her driveway.
Belen Briones, 27, of Allentown and a 25-year-old male, of Allentown, allegedly failed to scan miscellaneous merchandise totaling $227.05 at a self checkout station at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 5:41 p.m. Aug. 4, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. They left the store before police arrived. A vehicle registration and description were provided to police by loss prevention personnel and Briones and the 25-year-old male were placed under arrest at a residence and transported to Lehigh County Booking Center, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 26-year-old female, of Lenhartsville, was charged with retail theft after she allegedly removed assorted items from Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 5:35 p.m. Aug. 6, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
An 18-year-old male, of Allentown, allegedly attempted to remove merchandise, including a men’s jacket, underwear, pillow covers and shorts, with a total value of $110.97 from Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 8:11 p.m. July 30, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Another male suspect fled on foot.
A 32-year-old female, of Allentown, was taken into custody for stealing $71.59 worth of merchandise, including two bikinis, pants and other clothing, from Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 5:31 p.m. July 20. According to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville, the incident was the woman’s fifth retail theft.
A Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville trooper responded to an alarm activation at a location in the 2900 block of Schoeneck Road, Lower Macungie Township, 12:30 a.m. July 31. The alarm was found to be false and, according to police, is the seventh at the location in the past year.
Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville troopers responded to a burglar alarm at a residence in the 1900 block of Limeport Pike, Lower Milford Township, 2:43 a.m. July 29. The alarm was determined to be false and the homeowner’s fourth false alarm within 12 months.
An unknown person scratched the front and rear left side doors of a 2015 Dodge Charger while the vehicle was in the 3300 block of Route 100, Lower Macungie Township, 1:05 p.m. July 18, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. A resident in the 7000 block of Stack Road, Lower Macungie Township, reported damage to a hose storage box and pipe 5:09 p.m. July 31.
A Zionsville woman reported to police a 35-year-old female, of Hereford, did not return a vehicle when requested to do so June 13.
A male resident, 36, of Lower Macungie Township, reported fraudulent activity to his bank account between May 1 and July 29, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. An unknown suspect executed numerous transactions totaling $3,437.49.
Deanna Crystal Agbalaya, 22 and Darryl Dwayne Walton Jr., 22, both of Chicago, Ill., were taken into custody for alleged possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop at the intersection of Kressler Road and Shuler Street, Lower Macungie Township, 4:55 p.m. July 27, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
