Veterans outreach

Area veterans are invited to take part in the monthly support program at the office of state Rep. Jeanne McNeill, D-133rd.

A representative from the American Legion Service Office Outreach program will be in McNeill’s office at 1080 Schadt Ave., Whitehall, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 19 to provide information on services available to veterans and their families. The representative will be available to discuss education, health care and death benefits.

Legion membership is not required to take advantage of the help, but anyone interested in speaking to the advisers is encouraged to schedule an appointment through McNeill’s office at 610-266-1273.
