The Big Wahu Caribbean Band will play 7-10 p.m. Aug. 16 at the amphitheater at Catasauqua Park and Playground, 501 American St.
As always, bring those lawn chairs, blankets and snacks.

Revolution Church will be holding a back-to-school bash 1-3:30 p.m. Aug. 25 on the grounds of the George Taylor House, Lehigh and Poplar streets.
Kids will be treated to games, hot dogs, chips, snow cones and school supplies. There will also be a bouncy house, dunk tank and basketball toss.

Catasauqua Fire Police will be having a flea market 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Aug. 31 at the training grounds on Race Street.
You can rent a 10-foot-by-10-foot table for a price. The event will take place rain or shine.

St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 122 Union St., will be holding a drive-thru chicken dinner. You must get your advanced tickets by Sept. 2.
The meal includes half of a chicken, baked potato, coleslaw, local corn on the cob, roll and butter. Pickup is scheduled for 4-6 p.m. Sept. 13.
Simply drive up Union Street from Front Street, stop in front of the parking lot and provide your ticket(s), and a volunteer will hand you your dinner.
For tickets, send your payment to the church.
