STATE POLICE
A firearm was reported missing and likely stolen from a location in the 1200 block of Stein Way, Lower Macungie Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
The incident was detailed in a media release as follows: A woman and her family were moving from New York to Lower Macungie Township between July 17 and 22. A moving company was hired to pack, load and deliver household items and belongings to the local address. A Smith and Wesson semi-automatic handgun was included in the move. On July 22 when the packages were delivered, the woman found the gun case empty and was unable to locate the gun. The woman contacted the moving company, however no leads were developed in locating the handgun, according to police. The handgun was entered into the National Crime Information Center index as stolen July 26.
The gun, valued at $700, is described as nickel or stainless steel in color with a black grip.
Kendrick C. Miller, 45, of Allentown, was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence in the 100 block of South Cedar Crest Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township, 11:53 p.m. July 5, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Ryan Michael Weston, 28, of Allentown, allegedly was found to be driving under the influence after a traffic stop in the area of Saint Peters Road and Heistand Road, Upper Milford Township, 1:54 a.m. July 4, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
John Frances Hutchinson III, 30, of Palm, allegedly was found to be driving under the influence after a traffic stop in the area of Chestnut Street and Yeakels Mill Road, Upper Milford Township, 3:30 a.m. June 30, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Ormarr Dyujay Arkim Hannah, 23, of Allentown, was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence and possession of a small amount of marijuana after a traffic stop at the intersection of South Krocks Road and Kart Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 12:39 a.m. Dec. 3, 2018, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Nadalie Louise Bicking, 25, of Emmaus, was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence after a traffic stop for alleged traffic violations at Buckeye Road and Brookside Road, Lower Macungie Township, 11:24 p.m. June 28, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Jeffery Allen Gerhart Jr., 33, of Coopersburg, was allegedly driving under the influence during a traffic stop at Limeport Road and Main Road East, Upper Milford Township, 11:38 p.m. Jan. 18, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Giovanni Antonio Martinez, 28, of Alburtis, was placed into custody for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop on Hamilton Boulevard at South Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, 2:45 a.m. July 13, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. He was transported to Lehigh County Booking Center.
A resident of the 4900 block of Jasper Road, Upper Milford Township, reported his mailbox was damaged and resting on the shoulder of the road 11 p.m. July 14. The mailbox was valued at $50.
A resident of Pioneer Drive, Lower Macungie Township, reported dent damage to a garage door between 2 and 3 a.m. July 13. Damage was estimated at $130.
A 50-year-old female, of Emmaus, reported her front passenger window was damaged when an unknown person threw a rock at her vehicle at a location on Miller Avenue, Upper Milford Township, July 9. Total damage to the vehicle was estimated at $280.
An unknown person placed an unknown liquid substance on potted plants and a concrete porch and a granular substance on two seat cushions at a location on Rolling Green Place, Lower Macungie Township, between 11 a.m. July 14 and 6:15 a.m. July 15.
Two males, of Macungie, allegedly came onto the property of a resident on North Walnut Street, Lower Macungie Township, 9:13 a.m. July 1 and cut down a tree without authorization.
An unknown person threw a branch and damaged the rear light of a vehicle after a road rage incident in the 7400 block of Chestnut Hill Church Road, Lower Milford Township, 4:30 p.m. July 16.
A 36-year-old female, of Easton, reported her wallet was lost after she left it on the roof of a vehicle and the vehicle was driven away by her sister. The wallet was thrown into the road in the area of Speedway, 5640 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, between 5:30 and 6 p.m. July 7. When the woman went to get the wallet she said she saw a person retrieve the wallet and flee into a nearby wooded area. The wallet included a driver’s license, Social Security card, $198 cash, two bank cards and a prepaid Visa gift card valued at $3,000.
A 54-year-old male, of Macungie, allegedly taunted another person to fight him after he was asked to take his cellphone calls outside at a business on Hamilton Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township, 3:50 p.m. July 13.
Retail theft
A 51-year-old female and a 30-year-old female, both of Allentown, were taken into custody after allegedly failing to scan $120.28 in merchandise at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 4:03 p.m. July 27. Merchandise taken included food and apparel. Surveillance video showed the women paid for merchandise they scanned. Other items were placed in a shopping cart without being scanned, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 41-year-old female and a 17-year-old female, both of Allentown and employees of Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, allegedly removed $685.83 in merchandise from the store 7:56 p.m. July 27, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Items removed included a patio set, a gaming console, headset and controller, a phone card and a dessert cake. According to police, the woman and the teen were interviewed at the store and confessed to the theft.
A 21-year-old male, of Trexlertown, allegedly pushed and shoved a 27-year-old male, also of Trexlertown, when an verbal argument over an iPad tablet device escalated at a location on Lower Macungie Road, Lower Macungie Township, 8:54 p.m. July 26. The 21-year-old male left the scene before police arrived, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 59-year-old female, of Emmaus, allegedly struck a 27-year-old male in the face during a dispute at a location on Lenape Lane, Upper Milford Township, where Pennsylvania State Police were dispatched to assist EMS responders 1:41 a.m. July 26.
Protect from abuse violation
A 24-year-old male, of Macungie, was taken into custody and charged with contempt for violation of a protection from abuse order after he allegedly returned to a residence along Marworth Court, Lower Macungie Township, 7:39 a.m. July 24, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Christopher Micha Meade, 27, of Allentown, allegedly was found to be in possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia at a traffic stop at the intersection of Macungie Road and Houghton Lean, Lower Macungie Township, 12:07 a.m. July 6, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
