Upper Macungie Township police will participate in National Night Out 5-8 p.m. on Aug. 6 at Lone Lane Park, 30 Lone Lane.
This year’s event will feature food trucks, moon bounces, face painting, rides and amusements including a zip line, dunk-a-cop, Home Depot kids crafts, 50/50 raffle and more.
There will also be K-9 and traffic stop demonstrations, PPL safety demonstration, “Big Rig” trucking simulator and emergency vehicle displays.

The township will be showing the movie “Mary Poppins Returns” Aug. 9 at Grange Park, 360 Grange Road.Activities start 7 p.m.

Parkland Community Library, 4422 Walbert Ave., South Whitehall, is offering Maker Mondays for youngsters ages 4 to first grade at 5 p.m. Aug. 5.
Explore a variety of art and STEM related activities and story time.
Senior yoga by instructor Karen Klubertanz of Five Paths will be presented 10:30 a.m. Aug. 8.
Lil Builders for kids age 2 and older is scheduled for 11 a.m. Aug. 9.
Come play and build with the library’s block collection of Magna-Tiles and more.
Registration is needed for Makers Monday and senior yoga.
