LEHIGH COUNTY 4-H

Join Lehigh County 4-H at the Lehigh County Agricultural Center for a day full of excellent AG-ventures.

On Aug. 22, the Lehigh County Extension office will hold a 4-H Ag Explorers Day Camp 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The camp is open to youth ages 8-18.

The day is full of different agricultural adventures as youth learn about the world around them. Learning about different farm animals and how to make butter are examples of what the campers will participate in. The campers will also explore how food gets from farm to table and how to grow their own food. And who could forget about bugs? Youth will gain more knowledge about the pollinators that help our food grow as well as those insects that don’t belong here.

There is a charge. Register by Aug. 7.
