Mark your calendar for St. Peter Roman Catholic Church’s annual picnic and homecoming scheduled for noon-10 p.m. Aug. 4 on the church grounds, 4 S. Fifth St., Coplay.

Bring your lawn chairs and stop by. Most likely, you will run into friends and acquaintances from the community.

There will be a variety of delicious food fare to enjoy along with entertainment and games of chance.

Musikfest begins 5 p.m. Aug. 2 and runs through Aug. 11 in Bethlehem. A preview night is held Aug. 1. Visit the festival and enjoy some of the fabulous entertainment.

We are so lucky to have these great acts right in our backyard. There are hundreds of free shows for you to enjoy, as well as an assortment of fantastic food.
