Sunshine Symphony will be performing 7-10 p.m. Aug. 2 at the amphitheater at Catasauqua Park and Playground, 501 American St.

As always, don’t forget your chairs, blankets and snacks.

Salem United Church of Christ, 615 Third St., will be having its next free community lunch 11 a.m. Aug. 5. All are welcome.

The next meeting of Catasauqua Garden Club will be 1 p.m. Aug. 7 at Slovak Center Social Club, 1233 Fifth St., North Catasauqua. Bonnie Pancoast will present a brief tutorial on Pennsylvania native bees.

Folks who have artistic or horticultural exhibits should have them in place early, so the meeting can start on time.

Light refreshments will be served.

Gardening and bee-friendly folks are invited to attend.
