A 2017 graduate of Salisbury High School, and an incoming junior at Harvard University, freestyle swimmer Mahlon Reihman recently qualified for the Olympic Trials that will be held in June of 2020. The former Falcon swam the 100-meter freestyle in 50.49 seconds to qualify.
Reihman had a memorable sophomore season in the winter at Harvard. Not only was he named All-Ivy League First Team in the 800-meter freestyle relay, he was also selected as an All-American in the event. Reihman was selected as Second-Team All-Ivy League member in the 400-mter freestyle relay, too. He swam a leg in the Crimson’s seventh-place finish at the NCAA Championships in the 800-relay. He’s a part of two relay teams that have the second-best times in program history all time-2:50.36 in the 400-free relay and 6:15.38 in the 800-free relay.
The Olympic Trials will be held in Oklahoma, Nebraska from June 21 – 28.
