SALISBURY TOWNSHIP BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

With the expected final payments for work approved, a ribbon-cutting to commemorate the conclusion of improvements to Lindberg Park is planned.

The date for the probable ribbon-cutting ceremony has not been announced.

“All the work is completed, but we’re going back and doing a final list to tie up some things,” Salisbury Township Manager Cathy Bonaskiewich told commissioners before the vote at the July 11 meeting.

After the meeting, Bonaskiewich told a reporter for The Press the time and date of the ribbon-cutting ceremony is to be announced.

Meanwhile, the Salisbury Township Board of Commissioners voted 4-0, with one commissioner absent July 11, to approve four payments for what are probably the final projects in the park:

Payment No. 8 of $32,506.20 to Kobalt Construction, Inc., for Lindberg Park Phase 4 Contracted Work. Conn made the motion, seconded by Commissioner Joanne Ackerman, to bring the payment up for a vote.

Payment No. 6 of $8,121.15 to MJF Electrical Contracting, In., Morrisville, Bucks County, for Lindberg Park Phase 3 Contracted Work. Ackerman made the motion, seconded by Conn, to bring the payment up for a vote.

Payment No. 2 of $55,825.20 to John G. Membrino Construction, Hereford, Berks County, for Lindberg Park Phase 3 Contracted Work. Ackerman made the motion, seconded by Conn, to bring the payment up for a vote.

The Salisbury Township Board of Commissioners 6:30 p.m. July 25 meeting was canceled.
