A gun raffle, sponsored by Egypt Fire Company, 4099 Kuhn Lane, is underway. A total of 30 guns, valued at $17,000, will be raffled off Aug. 4.

Laurel Fire Company, 5114 Third St., Cementon, will host a breakfast 8 a.m.-noon Sept. 8. Children under the age of 4 eat for free.
