Catasauqua police responded to these and other calls recently.

JULY 8

An abandoned vehicle was tagged in the 300 block of High Street. The owner will remove the vehicle, the department said.

In the 700 block of Race Street, a dog was found then reunited with its owner.

Police assisted at the scene of a minor chlorine exposure in the 300 block of Bridge Street.

Metal was reported stolen in the 100 block of Union Street.

Officers assisted North Catasauqua officers in the 1000 block of Howertown Road.

A dispute between a landlord and tenant occurred on Second Street.

A driver was cited in the 200 block of Race Street.

In the 300 block of High Street, a problem with an unwanted guest took place.

JULY 9

Drivers were cited in the 200 block of Church Street, on Race Street and in the 700 block of Front Street.

Police investigated a parking complaint in the 100 block of Front Street. One vehicle left, and the second vehicle belonged on the lot.

A dog was found on Race Street then reunited with its owner.

At Lehigh Valley International Airport, 3311 Airport Road, Allentown, officers and the department’s K-9 assisted airport police.

In the 800 block of Wyandotte Street, members of the department assisted North Catasauqua police at a DUI stop.

A warning was issued on Second Street.

Police responded to an animal complaint in the 200 block of Edward Lane. The dog was reunited with its owner.

JULY 10

A dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend occurred in the 300 block of Church Street.

In the 700 block of Front Street, an oil spill on the roadway happened. Police assisted as needed.

Officers investigated a suspicious vehicle at Catty Beverage, 18 W. Race St. A person sleeping in a car was OK.

On Crane Street, police assisted North Catasauqua officers during a traffic stop.

A driver was cited on Second Street.

Police assisted North Catasauqua officers with an arrest in the 1100 block of Second Street.

Pocono Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center was contacted for an animal complaint on Second Street.

JULY 11

Officers assisted a constable in the 700 block of Second Street.

In the 500 block of Walnut Street, police assisted North Catasauqua officers.

A two-vehicle hit and run occurred on Race Street.

A reckless driver on Poplar Street was reported. The vehicle was located.

Drivers were given written warnings in the 200 block of Race Street and on West Race Street.

Investigators were called to a fraud case in the 800 block of Church Street.

Police investigated an animal complaint in the 400 block of Bridge Street. A cat was on the porch.

A reportable motor vehicle accident occurred on Lehigh Street.

Police assisted North Catasauqua police with a protection-from-abuse service in the 1000 block of Fourth Street.

A parking complaint in the 400 block of Bridge Street was investigated.

JULY 12

Police attempted to get information in the 100 block of Front Street for Slatington Police Department.

A suspicious person on Church Street was reported. The person was identified.

At Catasauqua Park and Playground, 501 American St., a minor injury occurred.

Officers assisted the fire department at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 417 Howertown Road.

In the 1200 block of Second Street, officers assisted North Catasauqua police with a report of a missing juvenile.

Police sought information in the 400 block of Limestone Street.

JULY 13

Police provided a courtesy transport in the 800 block of Walnut Street.

Two drivers were cited in the 200 block of Race Street.

In the 200 block of Front Street, a vehicle was ticketed and towed.

A fence was damaged in the 1000 block of Second Street.

Police assisted the fire department at the scene of a fire in the 700 block of Second Street.

An equipment violation warning was issued in the 500 block of Howertown Road.

JULY 14

Officers assisted Coplay Police Department for a domestic dispute on South Front Street.

Harassment via Facebook in the 400 block of Race Street was reported.

In the 100 block of Front Street, police assisted a citizen who fell.

A trespasser was warned in the 300 block of Front Street.

On Front Street, officers assisted the fire department.

An assault occurred on Stonewood Place. Charges are pending, police said.
