HAINES MILL:

The Allentown Band free outdoor concert, 6:30 p.m. July 21, Haines Mill, Cetronia, South Whitehall Township, has been postponed because of the Extreme Heat Warning issued for the Lehigh Valley.

The concert, hosted by the Lehigh County Historical Society, is to be rescheduled.

The nationally-renowned Allentown Band has played for 10 United States presidents, including Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, and Jimmy Carter.

The Allentown Band has been the subject of a segment on the “CBS News Sunday Morning” television show and a WLVT-TV documentary, “The Allentown Band: 175 Years of Musical Memories.”

Concert attendees should bring a lawn chair or blanket.
