Robert E. Wenhold, 49, of Emmaus, was taken into custody for allegedly threatening another person with a nail gun in an incident in the 3000 block of South Seventh Street extension, Upper Milford Township, 1 p.m. June 22, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Anthony Joseph Morgan, 29, of Allentown, allegedly fled when a Pennsylvania State Police trooper attempted to stop a vehicle after identifying the vehicle to be associated with a wanted person 11:44 p.m. June 2 at Chestnut and North 11th streets in Emmaus borough. Morgan allegedly fled the scene at a high rate of speed and was not located, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Morgan subsequently was identified through video surveillance, according to police.
A 71-year-old male, of Quakertown, reported the theft of two vintage porcelain signs from his booth in the Zionsville Antique Mall, 7567 Chestnut St., Upper Milford Township, between midnight June 2 and 11:30 a.m. June 4. The total monetary loss of the items removed was $550, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville investigators are asking for the public’s help in a string of thefts of construction signs between June 18 and 27.
On June 27, troopers responded to a report of stolen construction signs. Several detour signs were first reported missing June 18. The suspect vehicle was described as a maroon pickup truck, hauling detour signs inside a open trailer. The truck was last seen in the area of Batman Drive and Powder Valley Road, Upper Milford Township, June 24. Additional detour signs were removed from the following areas: Vera Cruz Road South, Kings Highway South, Martin Road, Scout Road, Palm Road, Gessinger Road and Buhman Road. An iPad was reported removed from a garage at a location on Station View West, Upper Milford Township, between 5:30 and 7:30 a.m. June 26, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. An unknown person entered through an unlocked access door leading into the garage where the iPad was sitting in a basket. Two unknown males burglarized Budget Storage and Lock, 299 Schantz Road, Lower Macungie Township, between 1 and 5 a.m. June 13. According to a media release from Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville, the men cut two holes along side the storage facility fence and gained entry into the lot. While inside the fenced in area of the business, the men cut the locks off several storage units and damaged doors of other units. The men removed several items from more than a dozen storage units, according to state police. Both men were wearing black hooded sweatshirts and covered their faces with bandannas. One of the bandannas was blue. Both suspects were described as white, tall, skinny and approximately 20 to 35 years old. They may have worn gloves throughout the burglary. A resident of the 3200 block of Macungie Road, Lower Macungie Township, reported the glass in an exterior wood door was shattered by what appeared to be a pellet 7:45 a.m. June 8. Henry Junior Moreno, 28, of Allentown, was taken into custody after he allegedly altered a label on a Dyson vacuum valued at $599.99 and attempted to exit without paying full price for the item at Target, 749 N. Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, 1 p.m. June 25. Loss prevention personnel detained Moreno until a Pennsylvania State Police trooper arrived, according to police.
A 27-year-old woman, of Allentown, under rang $126.61 worth of merchandise at a self checkout line at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, June 29. According to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville, the woman under rang deli meats and cheese, ant bait/termite killer, silverware, bathroom amenities, makeup kits, a soft drink, wheat bread and an electric razor. The woman was intercepted before leaving the store.
A 27-year-old woman, of Reading, under rang more than $70 in merchandise at a self checkout line and attempted to leave Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, June 29. According to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville, the woman under rang various items including deli meats, a soft drink, bathroom and shower tools, plastic cutlery and cotton swabs. She was intercepted before leaving the store.
Stacy Marie Storm, 30, of Bethlehem, was taken into custody for allegedly removing $204.77 worth of merchandise from Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 4:49 p.m. June 29, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Matthew Thomas Bochicchio, 25, of Sebring, Fla., was charged with harassment after he allegedly kicked a metal door, which then struck a 38-year-old male, of Allentown, in the 6900 block of Hamilton Boulevard, 10 a.m. June 26, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 40-year-old male, of Macungie, was charged with harassment after he grabbed a child during an altercation along Indian Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 10:30 p.m. Feb. 20.
A 25-year-old female reported an uninvited person repeatedly rang her doorbell and attempted to open a door multiple times in an incident at a location on Hamilton Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township, 1 a.m. June 21.
A 28-year-old female, of Ridgewood, N.Y. and a 27-year-old female, of Brooklyn, N.Y., were both cited for harassment after an altercation became physical in the 1000 block of Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 7:24 p.m. June 15, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville..
A resident of the 1300 block of Walnut Lane, Lower Macungie Township, reported various items were removed from an unlocked vehicle between 1 and 6 a.m. June 26 including, a wallet, valued at $20, a driver’s license, a debit card, a credit card, a health insurance card and other miscellaneous items.
