The Commonwealth Financing Authority has approved $501,500 in state funding for maintenance and improvements at the Lehigh Valley Regional Intelligence and Investigation Center.

The grant will assist covering costs at the center for personnel as well as annual software support, maintenance and development. The center, overseen by the Lehigh County District Attorney, is a regional law enforcement initiative supporting local, state and federal law enforcement partners in both Lehigh and Northampton counties.

These grants, among dozens others statewide, were approved by the authority to encourage economic development throughout the state.
