Favorite subject: My favorite subjects are math and technology. I like math because it will be important for my professional development. I love technology, like computer programming, because technology helps us accomplish things more easily.

Activities: I was involved in the soccer team and I really loved it. That was how I spent most of my time.

Next steps: I plan to go to a four-year college or university.

Career goals: I plan to work at St. Luke’s Hospital as a physical therapist.

Heroes: God is the guide of all my steps, but my heroes are my parents. I am thankful for their daily efforts to get up and work just so that I have a much better life than they had. I owe them everything.

Hobbies: My hobbies include soccer, hanging out with my friends, watching movies and spending time with my family.

Current job(s): I usually worked at the hospital during the summer in the transportation department. My main responsibility is to ensure the comfort and safety of patients while taking them to their destination.

Volunteer/community work: Aside from working at the hospital, I used to volunteer at a church.

Likes: I like soccer, singing, and playing video games.

Dislikes: I dislike dishonest people.

Greatest accomplishment (so far): I think one of my greatest achievements was last year when I received a certificate for completing the School-to-Work Program. The program is a partnership with St. Luke’s to give ESL students a chance to explore health careers.

Advice for peers: Never give up. Keep dreaming and fight for everything you love.
