SteelStacks will host the inaugural Pennsylvania STEAM Fest 2019 beginning Aug. 31.
The free, family-friendly festival, presented by WeDiscoverGeeks and IMAGINE Event Concepts, will feature family-oriented science, engineering and technology-based attractions, maker programs and activities, video game workshops, cosplay and more based around a steampunk theme.
Some will require a free admission ticket.
The fest will include hands-on workshops, seminars, educational panels and demonstrations for educators, businesses and entrepreneurs. There will be children’s workshops, art activities and events.
Confirmed attractions to date are steampunk Batman & Robin duo Jason Hettel and Rose Liquori; live music by Metamorph; dance performances by Coveilance Dance Project; Deejay General T. Osnofla; STEAM & 3-D Printing by Scott Shaw; and presentations by Game Design & Development of Wilmington University.
