Route 309 in Schnecksville was closed for approximately eight hours on July 6 following an alleged domestic incident at 4123 Route 309.

According to State Police Troop M, Bethlehem, officers responded to that address around 2:30 a.m. that day and subsequently took Jeffrey Crossley, 46, into custody with the assistance of the state police Special Emergency Response Team.

Crossley was taken to the Lehigh County Booking Center for arraignment.

Police say the Schnecksville Fire Department and PennDOT assisted at the scene.
