An unknown person took an iPhone X from a storage room at AT&T, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, between March 20 and April 1. The phone was valued at $800.
A male suspect confused a cashier into giving him $100 through a quick change scam at Giant food stores, 7150 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, 4:32 p.m. June 19.
An Emmaus woman reported her purse was removed from a shopping cart while she was shopping at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, June 3. The woman told police she left the purse in a shopping cart. Approximately two hours later, the purse was observed to no longer be in the same shopping cart where she left it. No persons were observed taking the item on video surveillance footage, according to police.
A resident of North Hedegrow Drive, Lower Macungie Township, reported an unknown person entered the residence and removed a television, fireworks and a duffle bag with a total value of $195 overnight June 1.
Amanda Adzima, 22, of Brooklyn, N.Y., was taken into custody for allegedly attempting to remove $1,117.56 worth of merchandise from Target, 749 N. Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, 3:26 p.m June 8, according to Pennsylvania State Police. Items removed included three Dyson vacuums, each valued at $249.99; two Xbox One controllers, each valued at $59.99; two PlayStation 4 controllers, each valued at 39.99 and $71.82 in over-the-counter medications.
Wonuvela Amedzekor, 32, of Northampton, allegedly was driving under the influence in a two-vehicle accident on Cedar Crest Boulevard at Riverbend Road, 7:20 p.m. Jan. 31, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Alison Louise Kelly, 48, of Emmaus, allegedly was driving under the influence at East Main Street and South Walnut Street, Macungie borough, 2:12 a.m. June 8, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsivlle.
Kyle Dustin Hershek Pierson, 33, of Coopersburg, was arrested in the 8700 block of Orchard Road, Lower Milford Township, after a verbal altercation escalated and he allegedly pushed an 80-year-old male to the ground causing a deep laceration on the top of his head, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The older man was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest campus, for treatment, according to police.
