“Valley Vivaldi” continues: The second concert in the Pennsylvania Sinfonia Orchestra (PSO) “Valley Vivaldi” 2019 summer series, now in its 37th year, continues, 7 p.m. June 30, Christ Lutheran Church Allentown. Sinfonia principal flutist Robin Kani, above, performs J.S. Bach’s “Trio Sonata in C minor,” BWV 1079, scored for flute, violin and basso continuo. Kani, with Sinfonia principal oboist Cheryl Bishkoff and ensemble, including Mary Ogletree and Rebecca Brown, violins; Agnès Maurer, viola; Noelle Casella Grand, cello, and Nancy Merriam, bass, performs Georg Philipp Telemann’s “Trio Sonata for Flute and Oboe in E minor,” TWV 42:e2, and Luigi Boccherini’s “Flute Quintet in E flat,” Op. 17, No. 6. Violinist Simon Maurer and harpsichordist Allan Birney, PSO founder-music director, perform J.S. Bach’s “Sonata for Violin and Harpischord in B minor,” BWV 1014.
