South Mountain Cycle and Café holds grand reopening

On June 15, the owners, friends and clients of South Mountain Cycle and Café attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the shop’s grand reopening in its new location at 318 Main St., Emmaus.

Recently, owners Chad and Heather Balliet took the opportunity to purchase the former VFW property and move their business into the more spacious site.

The Balliets accepted congratulations and/or received proclamations from Emmaus Mayor Lee Ann Gilbert, Emmaus Borough Council members, Lehigh County Executive Phillips Armstrong, members of the Board of Governors of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, members of Emmaus Main Street Partners, state Rep. Justin Simmons, R-131st and U.S. Rep. Susan Wild, D-7th.

Nick Tranguch of the Emmaus Main Street Partners served as master of ceremonies. Numerous patrons and local well-wishers were on hand to congratulate and support the Balliets as they expand their business venture.
