LYNN TOWNSHIP: Living Stone Fellowship offers sports camp for youngsters
There are many community activities and events that could use an extra pair of hands. Why not volunteer this summer?
Hawk Mountain Sanctuary, 1700 Hawk Mountain Road, Kempton, is having a volunteer weekend for teenagers, ages 14 through 18, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 29 and 30.
Trail maintenance, managing and clearing out some invasive species so native plants can properly flourish and preventing spotted lanternfly infestations. Registered teenagers may be able to log their volunteer service hours.
Additional programs offered are the Hawk Mountain Trail Stewards, a service learning program for high school and college students and the Bill Parks Memorial Volunteer Program, for anyone dedicated to wildlife conservation and keeping Hawk Mt. running.

Living Stone Fellowship, New Tripoli, is offering Push The Rock summer sports camp for youngsters ages 6-12.
The camp will be held 8 a.m. to noon July 15-19.

The clothing closet at Ebenezer United Church of Christ, New Tripoli, will be open 6-8 p.m. July 11 and 10 a.m. to noon July 13.
Clothing is available for the entire family.
Take as much as is needed. Proof of need is not required.

The Greater Lehigh Valley Group is hosting a Writer’s Café 1-3 p.m. July 7 at Wanamakers General Store.
Meetings, which are free and open to the public, are on the first Sunday of every month.
Bring a work in progress or be prepared to give others feedback.

Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, 1343 Long Lane Road, Krumsville, is having a sausage sandwich sale 4-7 p.m. on July 19.
The meal includes a sandwich, chips and a drink. Eat-in or take out is available.
Orders are due by July 15. Walk-ins are also welcome.
