The Liberty Bell Museum, at the historic Zion’s Church, 622 W. Hamilton St., Allentown, will take part in the national bell ringing ceremony, with Pip the Mouse, 1:30 p.m. July 4.
The Liberty Bell replica will be rung at 2 p.m.
To coincide with the upcoming exhibit commemorating the 50th anniversary of the moon landing, the program will include themed children’s coloring pages and a rocket craft project to take home.
State Rep. Mike Schlossberg, D-132nd, will read “Man on the Moon,” written by Anastasia Suen and illustrated by Benrei Huang.
A tour guide will be dressed in authentic Colonial garb..
Tours of the museum will be available noon to 1:30 p.m. and after the program until 4 p.m.
There is an admission fee.
Parking is available on the street or at the community parking deck at Sixth and Walnut streets.
