Northampton police responded to these and other calls recently.

JUNE 15

A warrant service was served in 2500 block of Cherryville Road. An officer observed a male with an outstanding warrant out of Lehigh County. The male was taken into custody, transported to the station and released to a Lehigh County sheriff.

JUNE 16

In the 700 block of Main Street, a woman yelling for help from the woods/railroad area was reported. She was located on the abandoned railroad trestle.

JUNE 17

Police said a hit-and-run accident occurred in the 700 block of Dewey Avenue. A legally parked vehicle was struck, damaging the gas fill door and the driver-side rear wheel.

JUNE 18

Officers responded to a hit and run in the 600 block of Main Street. An olive green Jeep driving south on Main Street hit the rear of a blue Ford Fusion. The driver of the Jeep fled the scene and proceeded north in the 500 block of Washington Avenue, the report said.

JUNE 20

A neighbor complaint in the 1300 block of Stewart Street was investigated.
