A person turned in a pair of keys he found along U.S. Route 222 near Kressler Road, Lower Macungie Township, April 24.
A license plate was reportedly stolen from a construction trailer owned by Dewalt Plumbing, 5474 Acorn Drive, Upper Milford Township, sometime between Feb. 1 and May 28.
A resident of Country Club Road, Lower Macungie Township, reported medication was stolen between midnight and 8 a.m. June 1.
A Palmerton resident reported an unknown person used her credit card to purchase approximately $502 worth of items from a location on Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, Feb. 25.
A 42-year-old female, of Lower Macungie Township, reported to state police she purchased a Nintendo Switch and a video game from a seller on social media overnight May 17. Miguel Jose Caraballo-Rodriguez, 29, of Allentown, was taken into custody for receiving stolen property after an attempted traffic stop in Lower Macungie Township 10:54 a.m. Jan. 6, according to Pennsylvania State Police. In a media release, police described what happened as follows: A red 2002 Honda Civic was observed on U.S. Route 222 North at Mill Creek Road. A records check of the vehicle revealed the registration plate was stolen. A traffic stop was attempted and the driver fled, proceeding eastbound on Interstate 78. The vehicle struck another vehicle on the Cedar Crest Boulevard off-ramp and continued to travel east on Fish Hatchery Road. The vehicle then traveled onto South 24th Street where police attempted to stop the vehicle. The driver allegedly intentionally struck the marked patrol car and came to a stop. A search of the vehicle allegedly uncovered a small amount of marijuana, according to police.
A male and a female suspect removed $43.64 in health and beauty products and a toy valued at $1 from Giant Food Stores, 7150 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, 12:47 p.m. April 3. The incident was reported May 4.
A 22-year-old female suspect removed 19 items from Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 1:16 p.m. April 17.
A trooper from Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville responded to Kohl’s department store, 6900 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, 7:11 p.m. April 24 for the report of a fraudulent return to the store April 7. A female suspect returned a PlayStation video gaming console a male suspect purchased less than two hours prior at a Kohl’s department store in Easton. The internal components and accessories of the PlayStation were missing at the time of return. A resident of Stanford Circle, Lower Macungie Township, reported his personal information was used to attempt to open credit accounts in his name between Jan. 1 and 25. One account was opened and used to complete one transaction. At least one attempt to open another account was declined.
An unknown person fraudulently open a Citizens Bank account using the information of a Lower Macungie Township resident between April 29 and May 15. The unknown person then attempted to wire transfer $45,000 into the account. The transfer was unsuccessful and the account has been closed by Citizens Bank Corporate Security, according to police.
A 20-year-old female, of Allentown, faces simple assault and other charges after a road rage incident, in which she allegedly began pushing and striking an 18-year-old driver, of Bethlehem, in the 4900 block of Medical Center Circle, Lower Macungie Township, 4:06 p.m. Feb. 11. According to a media release from Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville, the younger driver backed her vehicle into the 20-year-old driver’s vehicle. The older driver exited her vehicle and confronted the 18-year-old driver. The verbal argument escalated into a physical altercation. The 18-year-old driver sustained swelling to her right eye, a cut lip, scratches and bruising to her face and arms, according to police.
