June 19

Community blood drive in memory of Wayne Leibensperger Jr. at Jerusalem Lutheran Church of Eastern Salisbury, 1707 Church Road, Allentown, 4 to 8 p.m. For an appointment, call Deana Leibensperger at 610-217-3155.

The Emmaus Historical Society will hold its annual summer picnic 5:30 p.m. at Emmaus Community Park Moser Pavilion. Meat and drinks are supplied by the society. Members are asked to bring an appetizer, side dish or dessert. Non-member guests are welcome and asked to pay 2019 membership dues. Alburtis Area 55+ seniors meet noon at the Alburtis Gun Club. Hot dogs are served with a pot luck luncheon plus bingo. Many bus trips are planned. For more information, call 610-966-4996.

Emmaus Theatre, 19 S. 4th St, Emmaus, will present “Icons of Music” 2:30 p.m. June 23. The event includes live music by Chuck Rissmiller on vocals and guitar performing tunes from legendary rock and country artists Elvis Presley, Everly Brothers, Hank Williams, Neil Diamond, Johnny Cash, Ray Charles, Chuck Berry and Jerry Lee Lewis. St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church, 250 Elm St., Emmaus, invites all to a summer piano performance and dedication of the gift of a new piano featuring David Mascari, music director, 3 p.m. in the church. A free will offering will be taken.
