The Coplay Borough Planning Commission convenes 7 p.m. June 25 in council chambers at borough hall, 98 S. Fourth St.

The park and recreation board will meet 7 p.m. June 26 at borough hall.

As part of the summer entertainment series at Community Plaza, Social Call Lite will perform 6:30-8:30 p.m. June 26 at the gazebo.

Coplay Senior Citizens continues its 50th anniversary celebration with a patriotic program scheduled for July and a picnic in September.

The group was founded in 1969 by I. Messenlehner and has a membership of more than 100 men and women.

The organization has an average attendance of 80 people at its bimonthly meetings, more when special programs are held. The oldest active member is 96.

The American Club of Coplay hoagie fundraiser project is taking the summer off. The monthly hoagie making will resume in September.
