Great Allentown Fair Queen

The search is on for The Great Allentown Fair Queen for 2019, who will be selected to represent the fair’s mission during fair week and in the community.

Lehigh County Agricultural Society is looking for contestants from Lehigh, Northampton and Berks counties.

An ideal candidate will have the ability to communicate enthusiasm for The Great Allentown Fair, local farming and the agricultural industry. Young women ages 16 to 20 are encouraged to enter the competition, which awards a $1,500 scholarship.

The $1,000 portion is presented by Lehigh-Northampton Pomona Grange No. 68, and the $500 portion of the scholarship is presented by Dan and Laurie Wuchter on behalf of Allentown Farmers Market.

The Great Allentown Fair Queen will reign over various activities at the fair, Aug. 27-Sept. 2.

Deadline for registration is June 30.
