Don’t miss it! On June 15, the Heidelberg Game Protective Association is having a sportsmen’s flea market 8 a.m.-1 p.m. at 8886 Reservoir Road, Germansville.
The public is invited to shop. Vendors will be selling items related to hunting, fishing and outdoor gear.
There will also be a Chinese auction, food and lots of great deals.

Popping with personality! A friendship hour on the porch of Heidelberg Church will begin June 16 immediately following the 8:30 a.m. UCC worship service and continue through the summer Sundays.
All are welcome to sit for a bit and enjoy some food and fellowship.

True spirit! According to Heidelberg Church Soup Kitchen Coordinator Linda Hausamann, 98 meals were served recently to hungry and homeless children, women and men at the soup kitchen.
The meal included chili, rice, garden salad, rolls, oranges and dessert.
Thank you to Katherine Blose for the delicious assortment of brownies.

Heidelberg humor! A little child in church for the first time watched as the ushers passed the offering plates. When they neared the pew where he sat, the youngster piped up so that everyone could hear: “Don’t pay for me Daddy, I’m under 5.”
