Northampton police responded to these and other calls recently.

MAY 24

A hit-and-run accident in the 1700 block of Main Street was investigated. A legally parked vehicle was struck, damaging the driver-side mirror.

Police said a female causing a disturbance occurred in the 2300 block of Washington Avenue.

A vehicle that was blocking the lane of travel was towed in the 1800 block of Osbourne Alley.

In the 900 block of Main Street, criminal mischief took place. The front door of a residence was damaged, the report said.

MAY 25

Officers checked on the welfare of a male in the 700 block of Main Street.

MAY 26

A domestic dispute between a male and a female occurred in the 800 block of Main Street.

MAY 28

A warrant was served in the 1300 block of Newport Avenue. A wanted male was taken into custody and transported to Northampton County Prison.

MAY 29

In the 100 block of East 16th Street, a report of an open door, gate and more was investigated.

JUNE 1

Police assisted Northampton Fire Department’s rescue squad in the 2000 block of Canal Street for four males in the Lehigh River.

JUNE 2

A male with an outstanding warrant out of Bethlehem was observed at a traffic stop in the unit block of West 21st Street. The male was taken into custody and released to a Bethlehem police officer.

JUNE 4

A domestic dispute between a male and a female occurred in the unit block of West 10th Street.

The department received a report that a backpack, with a Chromebook and calculator, was taken from an area under the Coplay-Northampton Bridge, near West Ninth Street.

JUNE 6

Officers checked on the welfare of a male in the 300 block of East 10th Street.
