A person removed a shipping envelope valued at $20 from a porch. The incident was reported May 22 in the 400 block of Chestnut Street.
A person entered an unlocked garage and removed various items totaling $1,460. The incident was reported May 24 in the 200 block of North Seventh Street.
A person damaged a rear driver’s side window of a vehicle, resulting in $250 damage. The vehicle was not entered. The incident was reported May 24 in the 500 block of North Seventh Street.
A person damaged a rear driver’s side window of a vehicle, resulting in $150 damage. The vehicle was not entered. The incident was reported May 24 in the 100 block of Seem Street.
Overnight May 23, numerous vehicles were entered and ransacked. Items were taken from several vehicles. There was no forced entry to any of the vehicles reported. The reported locations of the incidents were all on the north end of Emmaus Borough. Authorities are emphasizing the importance of locking vehicle doors and not leaving valuable items in a vehicle.
Vehicles entered and ransacked included: two vehicles in the 600 block of Spruce Street, two vehicles in the 300 block of Spruce Street, one vehicle in the 700 block of North Third Street, one vehicle in the 200 block of North Seventh Street, one vehicle in the 500 block of North Seventh Street and one vehicle in the 300 block of Cherokee Street.
Vehicles entered and items removed included: Personal checks removed from a vehicle in the 300 block of Cherokee Street, $55 cash removed from a vehicle in the 400 block of Barrett Road, a key and fob with a total value of $150 removed from a vehicle in the 200 block of Macungie Avenue, two pairs of sunglasses and a pair of wireless headphones with a total value of $450 removed from a vehicle in the 300 block of Barrett Road, stereo equipment totaling $1,200 removed from a vehicle in the 700 block of Berger Street and four tools valued at $274 removed from a vehicle in the 700 block of North Third Street.
