Catasauqua police responded to these and other calls recently.

MAY 25

In the 200 block of Edward Lane, police sought information regarding a domestic situation.

A driver was cited and the vehicle towed in the 100 block of Race Street.

Four drivers were cited in the 200 block of Race Street, police said.

Persons were advised to stay away from each other in the 400 block of Limestone Street.

Police responded to a noise complaint in the 100 block of Bridge Street. The person sitting outside was advised to keep the noise down.

Dogs were fighting in the 200 block of St. John Street.

A dispute over a property line occurred in the 400 block of Race Street.

Officers investigated a report of a reckless driver in the 700 block of Railroad Street. The driver of an unlicensed motorcycle was cited.

MAY 26

Police assisted North Catasauqua officers with a crash in the 1500 block of Washington Street.

An animal complaint in the 100 block of Howertown Road was investigated. The dog was caught and reunited with its owner.

On Main Street in North Catasauqua, police assisted North Catasauqua officers during a vehicle stop.

Members of the department responded to a mental health commitment call in the 700 block of Third Street.

David Kieffer, 49, of Catasauqua, was arrested in the 200 block of Second Street for simple assault and physical harassment and contact.

A 49-year-old man, of Whitehall, was arrested on Front Street for driving under the influence.

A hit and run occurred at Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St. The vehicle was damaged.

Andrew Kress, 36, of Whitehall, was arrested for fictitious reports of a bicycle stolen at Catty Mart, 547 Front St. The department said the investigation is continuing.

Police checked on a backyard fire in the 900 block of Bridge Street.

MAY 27

Officers sought information regarding an assault in the 100 block of Walnut Street.

A verbal dispute occurred in the 200 block of Edward Lane.

A warning was issued in the 200 block of Race Street.

In the 200 block of Race Street, a citation was issued.

A citation was issued in the 200 block of Lehigh Street. The vehicle was towed.

Police said a dispute over fireworks occurred in the 200 block of Railroad Street.

An abandoned vehicle was tagged in the 100 block of Walnut Street.

Officers said a problem with dirt bikes took place in the 700 block of Railroad Street.

MAY 28

A warning was issued in the 200 block of Lehigh Street.

Police responded to a juvenile complaint at Catasauqua Middle School, 850 Pine St.

A bullying complaint at Catasauqua Middle School was reported.

Officers assisted North Catasauqua police in the 1100 block of Fourth Street for a domestic dispute.

The department investigated a report of a gas grill stolen at Schlegel’s Dry Cleaners, 120 Race St.

MAY 29

A property was damaged in the 800 block of Front Street.

Five citations were issued in the 200 block of Race Street and 500 block of Race Street.

At 623 Howertown Road, a theft occurred.

Two parking tickets were issued in the 300 block of Mulberry Street and on Second Street.

MAY 30

Two citations were issued in the 800 block of Walnut Street and the 200 block of Race Street.

Members of the department assisted North Catasauqua officers for a disturbance and fight in the 1000 block of Fourth Street.

At Whittier Place Apartments, a dispute between neighbors occurred.

Officers investigated an animal complaint in the 400 block of Walnut Street.

A suspicious phone call on Covington Place was reported.

An investigation is continuing for a threat that occurred in the 300 block of Tioga Street.

MAY 31

On 10th Street, a vehicle was ticketed and tagged.

The department is continuing an investigation of a retail theft that occurred at DND Market, 252 Race St.

Parking tickets were issued on American Street.

A citation was issued in the 200 block of Lehigh Street.

At Catasauqua Park and Playground, 501 American St., a suspicious person report was investigated.

JUNE 1

Police assisted North Catasauqua officers in the 1000 block of Railroad Street for a report of a domestic dispute.

Two drivers were cited in the 300 block of Pine Street and the 200 block of Race Street.

A dispute between families occurred in the 200 block of Pine Street.

On Walnut Street, a dispute over a vehicle purchase took place.

JUNE 2

At Catasauqua Park and Playground, a restroom panel was damaged.

Officers assisted North Catasauqua police with a report of a domestic issue in the 1200 block of Howertown Road.

A reckless driver in the 800 block of Race Street was reported.

On Sixth Street, officers assisted North Catasauqua police during an arrest.

In the 1000 block of Railroad Street, police covered a call for North Catasauqua officers.
