On May 26, the Emmaus Veterans Committee visited six cemeteries throughout Emmaus and honored the departed comrades buried in each.

United States Navy veteran Bob Mumbauer performed the role of chaplain and Howard Schaeffer, who served in the U.S. Marine Corps, carried out the duties of sergeant at arms during a short prayer service followed by a 21-gun salute and taps. The 18 members of the honor guard held a commemoration ceremony at each of the following cemeteries: Calvary, Old Moravian, Moravian on Ridge Street, Lutheran Reformed, Northwood and Emmaus Evangelical.
