Fullerton: Parish festival set for June 7, 8

St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, 618 Fullerton Ave., will be holding its annual parish festival 6-10 p.m. June 7 and 5-10 p.m. June 8.

Come out for delicious food, including pork barbecue, cabbage and noodles, potato pancakes, sausage sandwiches, hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken barbecue, pierogies, walking tacos, waffles and ice cream, snow cones and more.

There will be baked goods, drinks and a beer stand.

There will be games for children, raffles and live entertainment. Join the balloon guy and strolling magician for fun on both nights.

St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 835 Third St., will hold its Vacation Bible School program, “Abundance Orchard,” June 17-21. The program runs 6:30-8:30 p.m.

There will be Bible stories as well as story-themed snacks, crafts and songs.

St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church will be holding Vacation Bible School June 24-28. This year’s theme is “Roar.” The program runs 8:45 a.m.-noon.

Registration forms are available on the parish website, sercc.org, under parish life/youth activities or by calling the office at 610-266-0695. Early registration is recommended.

Volunteers are welcome.
