Fogelsville churches, VFW honor America’s fallen heroes

Residents of Fogelsville and surrounding communities remembered those who gave their all fighting wars for their country during a Memorial Day ceremony May 27 at St. John’s United Church of Christ cemetery, Fogelsville.

The Fogelsville Memorial Day ceremony was led by St. John’s Lutheran Church Pastor Nelson Quinones.

Members of Boy Scout Troop 72, Fogelsville, and Robert M. Fegely Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8282, Breinigsville, also joined in the remembrance.

Members of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran and St. John’s UCC choirs sang “Taps” at the end of the program.
