Exchange Club honor students
Northampton Exchange Club, at its May 1 dinner meeting held at Northampton Banquet and Event Center, lauded four Northampton Area High School students as a Boy or Girl of the Month during the Service to Youth program portion. Honored were Cameron Chuss, May Boy of the Month; Reem Shadid, May Girl of the Month; Vaughan Bryant, June Boy of the Month; and Bianca Minera, June Girl of the Month. At the time of the event, the students were all seniors. The students graduated June 1.
The honorees received a Lamp of Knowledge plaque, framed certificate and a club pen.
Dr. Rodger Berg, program chairman, challenged the students to make a difference and asked, “What would you do to make this world more positive?”
The honorees replied by saying they would take a positive approach to life, get involved, recognize change for the good, have bonds with others, approach matters from various points of view and perform random acts of kindness.
