SALISBURY POLICE
A resident in the 1600 block of Alex Court told police 11 a.m. May 2, an unknown person used a debit card number and made purchases in Jenkintown for a total of $99.
Arnold Hunsberger, 58, of Allentown, was charged with criminal mischief after allegedly kicking a vehicle following a road rage incident in the 1500 block of Maumee Avenue 7:59 p.m. May 2. Damage to the vehicle was estimated to be $700.
Salisbury police found graffiti on the walls of the men’s bathroom at Laubach Park, 1630 Lehigh Ave., 8:55 p.m. May 19. In addition, the top row of bricks was missing from the women’s bathroom and a picnic table was flipped over.
Two 14-year-old boys at Salisbury Middle School have been charged with damaging a classroom chair at the school 1 p.m. May 20. The students carved a tick-tack-toe on the chair as well as an inappropriate body part. Both boys will have school consequences and be referred to the community justice panel.
Police received a report a Salisbury Middle School student was vaping 8:10 a.m. May 21. The student had a vaping cartridge in his locker. The student will receive school consequences.
Juan Batista, 33, of Allentown, was charged with alleged possession of contraband, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia while at the Lehigh County Work Release Prison, 1600 Riverside Drive, 3:41 p.m. May 21. The controlled substance tested positive for methamphetamine according to police. He was taken to Central Booking for processing.
An unknown person opened two credit cards using the identity of a resident in the 300 block of East Mountain Road, charging $1,000 in the East Stroudsburg area. The incident was reported 4:35 p.m. May 3.
An unknown person opened a credit card using the identity of a resident in the 2200 block of Cypress Avenue, charging $621. The incident was reported 9:30 a.m. May 13.
An unknown person made purchases using the Amazon account of a resident in the 2200 block of Lehigh Parkway, charging $554. The incident was reported 2 p.m. May 15.
A Rolex watch valued at $8,600 was removed from a home in the 2200 block of Lehigh Parkway during an open house. The theft was reported 2:50 p.m. May 3.
A resident in the 1500 block of Lehigh Avenue reported the theft of a rocking chair from the front porch 7:48 p.m. May 5. The rocking chair was later found and returned.
Packages were removed from a home in the 2500 block of Colorado Street 7:48 p.m. May 6. Two females and one male were seen in the area at the time of the theft.
Christian Jimenez, 21, of Allentown, was charged with theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, possession of an instrument of crime and possession of a controlled substance after allegedly stealing tires from Vinart Body Shop, 3115 Berger St., 3:30 a.m. May 7. He was taken to Central Booking for processing.
An iPhone 8 was removed from a fire scene 3:30 p.m. May 17 in the 1200 block of East Susquehanna Street. The phone was valued at approximately $500.
A 25-year-old woman, of Philadelphia, was charged with disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and persistent disorderly conduct following an alleged incident at Lehigh Valley Health Network - Cedar Crest 7:31 p.m. May 12. She was taken to Central Booking for processing.
A male student at Salisbury Middle School was charged with punching a female student in the face – twice in the eyes and once in the cheek, 1:45 p.m. May 21. He will receive school consequences and be referred to the community justice panel.
